We had little family getaway last week. We headed to one of my favorite places, Pacific City. We spent four days hanging out on the beach and relaxing? Well, I don't know how relaxing it is running after a billion kids trying to jump in the ocean, but hey it was gorgeous weather and we were happy to be there.
We stayed in a one bedroom condo. All the girls slept in the same room and Danny and I slept in the living room. It was interesting trying to get all of the kids asleep in the same room. I caught Jesi trying to crawl into the Madalyn's pack n play a few times. Another time I found Ivy and Jesi cuddled up together asleep on the floor. Ivy, Jesi and I hiked up the back of the sand dunes. I was surprised that we made it to the top. I had to carry both of them the last 30 feet which was a good work out. We then held hands and ran down.
We had a great trip, it is nice to get away sometimes. Well, Jesi is jumping on my back and Ivy is asking for a snack so I guess that is all I am going to write about our trip for now. I hope everyone is having a good summer.
