Pumpkin Patch

I am on a role with blogging lately.

This morning Ivy's pre-school class took a field trip out to the local pumpkin patch.  Ivy couldn't wait to go and I secretly have been waiting patiently for this event for awhile now too.  Who doesn't love roaming about in a field of pumpkins, drinking hot cider and walking through the tall corn stalks?  I think I belong on a farm.  If we had the resources to buy the pumpkin farm and take it over today it would be a done deal. Maybe I should bring this proposition up to Danny when he comes home.  Anyways, enough about me and my desires to take over a pumpkin farm.  If anyone wants to give me a million dollars I will e-mail you my address.  Okay, I said enough about that!

These kids had an awesome time at the pumpkin patch and I think each student fell down at least once while running through the pumpkin fields in their big rain boots.  That only added to the entertainment. Each of the students were allowed to pick out one pumpkin, one gourd and one Indian corn.  Ivy wanted to find a "baby pumpkin".  This is Ivy's second year at her school.  It has been fun watching her and the other students become friends and learn together.

It was fun seeing all of the different shapes and colors.  Looks like I have some competition out there. haha.

This one wouldn't fit in the "bag", so it was a no go.

My little 4 year old preschooler.  Love this girl.

Silly girls, they made up several songs about the pumpkin farm while we were on the hay ride. So cute.

The class of 2024! You've got a long way to go kidlets.

Ivy and Grandma! I am so glad she joined us this morning.

Now off to fold the most daunting pile of laundry ever to grace my floors presence. Maybe I am blogging to procrastinate.  Yes, I think I am.
